Kachhi District Ramps Up Polio Eradication Efforts

In a concerted effort to combat polio, Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Captain Retired Jameel Ahmad Baloch led a crucial meeting of polio eradication team members, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of ongoing vaccination campaigns. According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting, which also included Deputy DHO Dr. Ayaz and other key health officials, reviewed the day’s campaign performance and other vital aspects to ensure the eradication of polio in the district. Deputy Commissioner Baloch urged rigorous action against any staff members exhibiting negligence, emphasizing the critical importance of the campaign in protecting future generations from the debilitating disease. He called for increased vigilance and proactive measures to make the campaign successful, and highlighted the need for community involvement, especially urging parents to cooperate with vaccination teams visiting their homes.
