Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has outlined a proactive strategy to manage the city’s stormwater drainage issues, emphasizing the importance of readiness and maintenance to prevent flooding during the monsoon season. His plans include the deployment of resources across the city to ensure efficient water drainage and to address traffic disruptions caused by rainwater accumulation.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, During a tour of various drainage sites, Mayor Wahab detailed a collaborative approach with all town administrations to expedite the cleaning of major and suburban drains.
