Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advances Digital Transformation with NETSOL Collaboration

Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Special Assistant on Science Technology and Information Technology, Khalid Latif Khan Marwat, discussed significant digital transformation initiatives in a meeting with representatives from NETSOL, a leading global IT service provider. The discussions focused on enhancing the digital infrastructure across the province, including in newly merged districts, to facilitate a paperless governmental environment and promote e-governance.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Marwat emphasized the need to expand digital services throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aiming for comprehensive coverage that ensures governmental operations can be conducted digitally. An awareness campaign at the district level is also planned to educate and engage the public in the digitization process.

The special assistant highlighted Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s dedication to implementing e-governance and digitization across the province, with the objective of making administrative processes more efficient and accessible to the public. Marwat noted the significant potential for technological development in the region and the growing interest from foreign investors in the local tech sector, which is expected to create job opportunities and enhance economic stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
