Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aims to Enhance Technical Education and Vocational Training

Peshawar, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, led by the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Technical Education and Industry and Crafts, Abdul Karim Tordhir, is taking significant steps to improve the region’s technical education and vocational training systems. A high-level meeting focused on advancing these sectors was held, addressing digitization, financial independence, and the enhancement of institutional performance.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting included key figures such as Secretary Industries, Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah, and other officials from the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA). They discussed the operational and teaching affairs of the institutions and reviewed development projects aimed at aligning technical education with market needs and enhancing skill development.
