Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Distributes Aid to Deserving Families During Ramadan

Peshawar, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister of Food, Zahir Shah Toro, announced the ongoing distribution of aid checks to deserving families across the province as part of the Ramadan relief package, highlighting the government’s commitment to welfare and public service.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Toro stated that checks worth 4 billion, 38 crore, 54 lakh, 70 thousand rupees have been distributed so far to families in need, with each family receiving ten thousand rupees. A total of 777,419 families are slated to benefit from this initiative, facilitated through the Ehsaas program. This effort aligns with the vision of PTI’s founder, Imran Khan, aiming at tangible welfare measures for the populace rather than mere rhetoric and public appearances.

Minister Toro emphasized that the provincial government, under the banner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is dedicated to real public service, fulfilling its promise to support its people, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative reflects PTI’s commitment to creating a welfare state, a dream that the current provincial administration is keen on realizing.
