Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Focuses on Expanding Technical and Vocational Education

Peshawar, Labor Minister Fazal Shakur Khan presided over a meeting to assess and expand the capabilities of technical and vocational education institutions under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Workers Welfare Board. The meeting highlighted the current educational offerings and discussed strategies for enhancing technical education across the province.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the briefing covered the operations of polytechnics, monotechnics, and vocational institutes that provide a variety of technical and vocational courses. The increasing demand for skilled labor both domestically and internationally was emphasized, with particular attention to the importance of technical education in bolstering economic stability. The minister also directed efforts to include language training, such as Chinese, to better prepare students for opportunities in international markets.
