Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Implement E-Transfer Policy in Education Sector

Peshawar, Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi chaired a meeting to discuss the progress and implementation of the new e-transfer policy, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and transparency of teacher placements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the e-transfer system is designed to minimize human intervention and eliminate political and nepotistic influences in the transfer processes within the education sector. The policy includes special parameters to prioritize widows and disabled individuals, ensuring a fair and merit-based transfer system.

Minister Afridi directed relevant officials to expedite the implementation of the e-transfer policy, which involves a comprehensive software system that will handle all aspects of the transfer process. This system is expected to end the culture of transfers based on recommendations, ensuring that placements are determined by objective criteria such as domicile, disability, and service in hard areas.
