Liberation struggle to go on despite arrests: Saghar

Islamabad, November 26, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar has said that India cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ will for freedom through arrests and intimidation to make its election drama a success in occupied Kashmir.

Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Jammu and Kashmir was an internationally recognized dispute, and the people of Kashmir would continue struggle to achieve their inalienable right to self-determination as per relevant UN resolutions.

Mehmood Ahmad Saghar maintained called upon the world community to take notice of state terrorism unleashed by India to crush the Kashmiris’ genuine struggle for freedom. He denounced the authorities for illegally detaining Hurriyet leaders and activists including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik and others.
