Malik Jamil Zafar Appointed as Director General of Safe City, Islamabad

Islamabad, Malik Jamil Zafar has officially taken over as the Director General (DG) of Safe City, following his appointment by Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Islamabad.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, upon assuming his new role, DG Zafar met with staff members and conducted a comprehensive review of the various branches of Safe City. He has embarked on a series of visits to these branches, where he provided directives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies. His initiatives include upgrading the Safe City cameras with modern technology, improving the city’s surveillance and monitoring systems, and enhancing traffic management and emergency response services like e-challan and the Pukar-15 helpline. DG Zafar has called on all officers and officials to dedicate themselves to improving their performance and service delivery.
