Education Minister Pledges Scholarships for Deserving Students Across Provinces

Islamabad, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Minister for Education and Professional Training, has committed to providing scholarships to deserving students from all provinces, reaffirming the government’s dedication to educational equality.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) which he presided over today, Dr. Siddiqui discussed the strategic initiatives aimed at expanding educational opportunities. The board approved a substantial annual budget of approximately one billion rupees for PEEF and agreed to recruit a full-time CEO to enhance the organization’s effectiveness. Dr. Siddiqui expressed optimism that PEEF will successfully extend educational support to students regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds.
