Manipur Chief Minister’s Convoy Attacked by Militants

Imphal, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh’s convoy was ambushed by armed militants in the Kangpokpi district on Monday, resulting in one security personnel being injured.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the convoy was en route to Jiribam district from Imphal when it came under attack along National Highway-37 around 10:30 am. The attack was carried out by unknown militants, and while the Chief Minister was not harmed, the injured security personnel was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
