Islamabad: Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) has officially denied rumors of a gas discovery in Chagai, Balochistan, stating that the news circulating on social media is false. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), MPCL has confirmed that it has made no such discovery in the region.
The rumors, which emerged on various social media platforms, suggested that MPCL had identified a new gas reserve in Chagai. However, MPCL, a company known for its commitment to transparency and disclosure, has refuted these claims. In a statement released today, the company emphasized its dedication to upholding the highest standards of honesty in all of its operational territories.
