Lahore, In a significant development for corporate governance and leadership continuity, MCB Bank Limited has announced the unopposed election of its board of directors, as per the notices published in the Daily “Business Recorder” and the Daily “Jang” on March 19, 2024. The election is scheduled to occur at the bank’s 76th Annual General Meeting on March 27, 2024, at the Nishat Hotel in Lahore with provisions for virtual attendance through a Zoom link.
The list of individuals offering themselves for election includes prominent figures such as Mian Mohammad Mansha, Mr. Muhammad Tariq Rafi, Mian Umer Mansha, and Mrs. Ieraa Hassan Mansha, marking the inclusion of a female director in alignment with corporate governance best practices.
