Memorandum of Understanding signed between Pakistan and France on training of civil servants

Islamabad: A MoU was signed here today between Pakistan and France on exchange of training of civil servants. The MoU has been signed as follow up of Prime Minister’s to France early this month, says a press release received here today from Paris.

Mr. Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Rector, National School of Public Policy and Mr. Bernard BOUCHAULT, Director, ENA signed the MoU on behalf of their respective governments. The agreement will result in exchange of faculty members, researchers and experts, exchange of students or participants and exchange of training material. ENA is prestigious Institute for the training of elite services. Most of the political and administrative class of France including President, Prime Minister, Ministers and heads of Financial and Administrative Organizations have been trained at ENA.

The agreement signed between two institutions will enhance the capacity of the civil servants of Pakistan to create institutional languages in public policy and public administration. Mr. Bernard, Director ENA kindly accepted the invitation of Mr. Ismail Qureshi to visit Pakistan to discuss further strengthening the relations between two prestigious institutions.
