Message from Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on the occasion of Labour Day

Islamabad, May 01, 2013 (PPI-OT): Labour Day is being celebrated around the world to pay tributes to the sacrifices made by the labourers of Chicago for achieving the right of workers.

The secret of any country’s development lies in the value of hard work and its human resources. A society which does not address the basic needs of its working classes, remains backward. The government is committed to improving the living standard of labourers and workers. We believe that workers and employers are partners in the production process.

On this occasion, I urge workers and employers of the country to come forward and play their role in making Pakistan a role model and send a message to the world that they are united to face any challenge in the world. Let us pledge to continue working for the welfare of the working classes in the country.
