Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes special event in connection with Women’s Day

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a special event today under the theme of “Women of Substance” in connection with International Women’s Day.

Addressing the event, Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi expressed commendations to Pakistani women, recognizing their indelible contributions to the nation’s progress and their pivotal role in fostering positive societal transformations.

Emphasizing the remarkable achievements of women diplomats, he said there is a significant number of female officers who showcased unparalleled prowess and dedication in advancing country’s foreign policy.

The event also featured a panel discussion, moderated by Spokesperson Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, which showcased the remarkable journeys of influential women leaders.
