Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources establishes Oil and Gas Control Cell

Islamabad, May, 03 2013 (PPI-OT): Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has established Oil and Gas Control Cell during Elections 2013.

The cell would be functional from 7th May, 2013. The Oil and Gas control Cell has been established to ensure continuous supply of Oil and Gas during election, 2013. This cell will ensure co-ordination between M/o Petroleum and NR, Finance, Water and Power, SNGPL, SSGCL, OGDCL and PSO to ensure continuous supply of Oil and Gas.

The cell will operate 24 hours a day. Members of the cell include Additional Secretary Petroleum (Focal Point), Director General Oil, Director General Gas, General Manager PSO, General Manager SNGPL and Chief Manager SSGCL. Oil and Gas cell will be based in control room at M/o Petroleum and NR, Pakistan Secretariat.
