Fertilizer companies agree to reduce urea prices

Fertilizer companies across the country have agreed to reduce prices of urea in the country.

The agreement was conveyed by Chief Executive Officer of Fauji Fertilizer Company Jahangir Paracha during meeting with Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain in Islamabad today.

He informed the Minister that Fertilizer Manufacturers of Pakistan Advisory Council, which is collective body of all fertilizer companies in the country, has unanimously agreed to reduce prices of urea fertilizer.

Jahangir Paracha also presented some proposals submitted by the council to the Minister.
