Mirwaiz Calls for Continued Dialogue in Kashmir’s Struggle for Self-Determination

Srinagar, Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq commemorated the martyrdom anniversaries of Kashmiri leaders Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq and Khwaja Abdul Ghani Lone with a pledge to persist in the peaceful struggle for Kashmir’s self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq emphasized the importance of dialogue as the only viable solution to achieving peace and stability in the region. In his statement, he reflected on the sacrifices made by the martyred leaders and reiterated the commitment to advancing their legacy through non-violent means.

Farooq also highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the Kashmiri people, including arrests and detentions of political leaders and activists. He called on authorities to release all political prisoners and engage in meaningful discussions to resolve the long-standing conflict in Kashmir.
