Mohsin directs to stay alert amid threat of dengue

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed administration of Federal Capital to stay alert amid threat of dengue in the wake of rainy season and accelerate efforts to prevent it.

In this regard, he made contact with the Chairman Capital Development Authority and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa and asked him to ensure the drainage of rain water from low lying areas.

The Minister directed to implement the anti-dengue plan of action in letter and spirit and strictly follow all Standard Operating Procedures in this respect.
