Naqash urges people to protest on Singh’s IHK visit

Srinagar, June 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash has urged the people to lodge a strong protest on the day the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh will visit Kashmir to make it clear to the world that occupation of Kashmir is neither tolerable nor acceptable to the people of Kashmir.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash addressing Juma congregation at Shadipur said that occupied Kashmir was a human tragedy and most dangerous and unsafe zone in the world as it had been heavily militarized by India to suppress and crush the inherent right of freedom. Our people regardless of age and gender are daily butchered, arrested, tortured and imprisoned by Indian troops, he deplored.

“The unprecedented supreme and innumerable sacrifices and ongoing perpetual struggle will soon usher in realizing our mission freedom and Indian unabated repression and conspiracies can neither deter nor stop us from achieving freedom”, he said, adding that Kashmiris were determined to continue the liberation movement till compete success.

Naqash paid glowing tributes to all the martyrs of Kashmir freedom struggle and strongly condemned the continued house arrest of the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja in a statement said that India was enslaving the people of Kashmir the way it was enslaved by the British. She was reacting to reports about ban on entry of Kashmiris into handicrafts showrooms in Tangmarg.
