Islamabad: Preparations for the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan are underway nationwide, with extensive decorations and displays of national pride evident across cities and towns.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, buildings throughout the country are adorned with national flags, buntings, and lights to mark the occasion. Citizens have also joined in the festivities, displaying national flags on their vehicles and rooftops.

Stalls selling national flags, buntings, caps, and children’s clothing in the national colors of green and white have sprung up along busy roadsides and in shops in various localities. Additionally, Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television are actively covering the preparations through various programs, further amplifying the patriotic fervor as the nation approaches its Independence Day.
