National Bank of Pakistan signs deal with Arab National Bank for home remittance services

Karachi, December 17, 2012 (PPI-OT): In a recent ceremony held in Saudi Arabia, NBP which is the largest Pakistani bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for home remittance services with Arab National Bank, the 2nd largest provider of remittance services in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ANB has an extensive distribution network, with over 270 locations within the Kingdom. On the distribution side in Pakistan, NBP offers unmatched outreach with the widest network of 1277 branches.

On the occasion Mr. Khalid bin Shaheen, SEVP/Group Chief and Chairman NBP Exchange Company Limited said, “The collaboration between NBP and Arab National Bank will significantly enhance NBP’s outreach in the Kingdom to facilitate Pakistani expats in sending their hard earned money to their loved ones at home absolutely free of charge in a fast, convenient and secured manner coupled with reliability of the leading banks in remittance business in respective countries.”
