National Conference Criticizes Indian Government Over Conditions in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has issued a strong critique of the Indian government’s policies in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, accusing it of disrupting peace and misleading the public about the region’s state of normalcy.

According to Kashmir Media Service, NC Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq released a statement in Srinagar condemning New Delhi for the escalation of violence in the area. Sadiq called on the Indian government, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, to acknowledge its role in the deteriorating situation and to stop employing deceptive practices.

The statement underscores a demand for accountability from the central government concerning its handling of the Kashmir issue, with Sadiq urging an end to what he terms “deceitful tactics.”
