National Level Hockey Player Commits Suicide in Patiala

Patiala, A tragic incident has occurred in Patiala, Punjab, where 21-year-old national level hockey player Sumandeep Kaur reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Bhakra Canal.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Sumandeep, who was pursuing an MA at Punjab University, was allegedly distressed by the treatment from her brother, Vikramjit Singh, and his wife, Pinky. Her father, Jaspal Singh, reported these circumstances to the police, leading to a case being registered against Sumandeep’s brother and sister-in-law based on the complaint.
