National Refinery Limited’s Notice of 166th Meeting of NRL’s Board of Directors and the Closed Period

Karachi: Notice is hereby given that the 166th Meeting of NRL’s Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on October 20, 2011at 17:00 hours at Hotel Marriott, Karachi to consider and approve the un-audited accounts for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 and declaration of any entitlement.

Mr. Zakir Mujahid Qureshi, Treasurer, Telephone 35061544 has been deputed for transmitting the results of the Meeting of NRL’s Board to the Stock Exchange.

The results would be sent through fax to the Stock Exchange from the following numbers of National Refinery Ltd:

In consideration of the fact that the meeting shall be held at 17:00 hours, which is a closed time of the Stock Exchange, the Company will communicate financial results of the Company on the next working day, i.e. on Friday, October 21, 2011 between 9:00 hrs to 9:15 hrs.

The Company has declared the “Closed Period from October 12, 2011 to October 20, 2011 (both days inclusive) prior to the announcement of un-audited results of the Company for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 under the Code of Corporate Governance. Accordingly, no Director, CEO and Executive shall directly or indirectly deal in the shares of National Refinery Limited (NRL) in any manner during the closed period.
