Nawaz Sharif, Suleman Shahbaz acquittal proves cases against them were baseless: Murtaza

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbassi has said that the acquittal of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Suleman Shahbaz after that of PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif proves that the cases registered against them were baseless.

In a statement today, he said the cases made to remove Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from power have no footing. He said a nexus of the past stands exposed.

The Minister said the injustice done to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should be undone by the institutions of justice.
