Newborn Twin Girls Found Dead in Poonch, Father Detained

Jammu: In a grim discovery, the mutilated bodies of newborn twin girls were found in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, sparking a police investigation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the infants’ bodies, each with their throats slit, were located at their family home in the remote village of Chajjla-Keyani. The father of the twins has been taken into custody for questioning regarding the circumstances of their deaths.

Bhupinder Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Mendhar, reported that after receiving a tip-off, police promptly retrieved the bodies from Mohammad Khursheed’s residence and transported them to the sub-district hospital in Mendhar for autopsies. The motive behind the tragic deaths is still under investigation as local authorities work to uncover further details of this heinous act.
