No Pakistani citizen involved in Muscat attack: Envoy

Pakistan Ambassador in Oman Imran Ali has said that no Pakistani citizen was involved in the dastardly terrorist attack on Imam Bargah Ali bin Abu Talib in Muscat.

In a video message on Pakistan Embassy Oman’s social media platform X, he categorically rejected the propaganda on some digital platforms in this regard.

The Ambassador said he had confirmed reports that all three attackers, involved in this incident, were not Pakistanis. He said Pakistan is a victim of terrorism.

Imran Ali said four Pakistani citizens, who embraced martyrdom in the incident, were not just random victims of terrorism, but they presented supreme sacrifice while saving the lives of others, including women and children.

He said Pakistan is ready to cooperate with the government and the people of Oman as both nations share each other’s grief.
