Oman and Sindh Explore Enhanced Cooperation in Food Security

Karachi, In a significant development aimed at bolstering bilateral ties, a food security delegation from Oman met with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor House to discuss enhanced cooperation in food security and investment opportunities in the province.

According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting was attended by the Consul General of Oman, Sami Abdullah Khanjari, and the Vice Consul General. The discussions focused on strengthening Pakistan-Oman economic relations, exploring investment opportunities in Sindh, and other areas of mutual interest.

Governor Tesori emphasized the importance of closer cooperation in food security, noting that it is beneficial for both countries. He highlighted the longstanding cordial relations between Pakistan and Oman and encouraged the business communities from both sides to collaborate more closely. He also mentioned that the Sindh Investment Finance Centre (SIFC) would provide substantial support to investors, facilitating further economic engagements.

The Omani Consul General reiterated the significance Oman places on its relationship with Pakistan, suggesting potential growth in their collaborative efforts.
