Overseas Pakistani Global Foundation Africa in Uganda organizes blood donation camp

Islamabad, March 23, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Overseas Pakistani Global Foundation Africa (OPGFA) in Uganda had organized blood donation camp, inaugural of free food for the needy on daily basis and general meeting of their organization on 20-21 March 2021. These activities were organized as part of Pakistan Day celebrations, says a press release received here today from Uganda. Pakistan Association Uganda had also organized general meeting of their Executive Board providing update on the activities they had held during the last one year and their future plans as part of Pakistan National Day celebrations. OPGFA in collaboration with Turkish Embassy in Uganda also held Pakistan Day celebrations.

The High Commissioner was invited for all these events. Meetings were attended by the Uganda Government officials from Police, Defence, Revenue Authority, Ministry of Foreign Afflation and diplomatic representatives of Kenya and South Sudan. Taking this opportunity the Honorary Consul was also handed over her Commission of Appointment by the High Commissioner. The High Commissioner also visited office of the Honorary Consul and briefed her on the importance of her office in Uganda.
