Punjab Assembly during the session, has passed unanimously a resolution for extending congratulations to the national Kabaddi team over winning the Kabaddi World Cup.
The resolution was presented by MPA Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi.
The House demanded of the government to take measures for the promotion of Kabaddi just like other games.
The House also stressed upon the government to announce cash prizes and residential facilities for the Kabaddi players and employ them in government departments.
