Pakistan and Kazakhstan Forge Partnership to Address Climate and Environmental Challenges

Islamabad: In a concerted effort to address climate risks and environmental issues, Pakistan and Kazakhstan have pledged to enhance their cooperation. This commitment was solidified in discussions focused on tackling challenges related to climate change, energy, air pollution, and water scarcity.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the commitment came during a meeting in Islamabad between Romina Khurshid Alam, Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change, and Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin. The talks underscored the urgency of collaborative efforts to mitigate the impacts of environmental degradation and climate-related phenomena.

The partnership aims to leverage mutual strengths in addressing pressing environmental issues that affect both nations, emphasizing a strategic approach to sustainability and resource management.
