Pakistan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Ties to Address Environmental Challenges

Islamabad: In a key meeting today, Pakistan and Kazakhstan committed to enhancing their collaborative efforts across various sectors, particularly focusing on combating climate risks, air pollution, and water scarcity.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this pledge was made during discussions between Romina Khurshid Alam, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change, and Kazakhstan Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin in Islamabad. The discussions highlighted the mutual interest of both nations in strengthening their partnership to address urgent environmental issues that impact both countries.

The enhanced cooperation is expected to involve shared strategies and initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change and improving resource management, reflecting a continued commitment to regional and global ecological sustainability.
