Pakistan and Netherlands Explore Enhanced Defense and Economic Ties

Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic engagement today, Minister for Defence, Defence Production and Aviation Khawaja Muhammad Asif met with H.E Henny Fokel De Vries, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in defense and economic sectors.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting held in Islamabad, Minister Asif expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in enhancing its relationship with the Netherlands, with a special focus on defense collaboration. The discussion also covered the latest security dynamics along the Pak-Afghan border and Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.

The meeting highlighted Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms. Both sides reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and explored new avenues to strengthen political and economic ties, addressing global and regional issues. The Dutch side showed an eagerness to constructively engage with Pakistan across various sectors.
