Pakistan and Turkey to enhance mutual collaboration between Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan and Turkish Patent Institute

Ankara, July 30, 2015 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Sohail Mahmood visited the Turkish Patent Institute (TPI) in Ankara, today, and met with its President Dr. Habip Asan. Views were exchanged on deepening cooperative linkages between the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) and the Turkish Patent Institute (TPI).

Both sides reaffirmed the desire to enhance the frequency of exchanges at the leadership and experts’ level, share experiences and best practices, and collaborate in training and skills development. Collaboration between IPO and TPI is governed by the Cooperation Protocol signed during the 4th session of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) in Islamabad in February 2015.
