Pakistan Calls on UN to Tackle Conflicts in Jammu and Kashmir, Palestine

New York: Pakistan has appealed to the United Nations to engage more actively in resolving the ongoing conflicts in Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, emphasizing the necessity for a concerted international effort to address these long-standing issues.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a high-level open debate at the UN Security Council, Ambassador Munir Akram underscored the importance of regional and international cooperation in conflict resolution. Ambassador Akram also detailed Pakistan’s renewed commitment to counter-terrorism through its updated National Action Plan, named “Azam-e-Istehkam,” which focuses on collaboration with local communities to root out violent extremism and terrorism.
