Pakistan Cricket Board welcomes the offer by Wasim Akram to train young fast bowlers

Lahore, August 07, 2012 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman Nadeem Sarwar welcomed the offer by former captain of Pakistan Mr. Wasim Akram to train young fast bowlers. In a statement Mr. Sarwar said,

“Pakistan has produced some of the world’s greatest fast bowlers and Wasim is one of them. We welcome his offer to groom the huge talent Pakistan has in fast-bowling department. Identifying the talent from grass-root and polishing it by providing the best possible facilities has been a primary objective of the PCB as Chairman PCB Ch. Zaka Ashraf has cited on multiple occasions.

“We are in contact with Wasim and he has assured to find a window from his schedule at the earliest. Pakistan Cricket Board will chalk out training schedules corresponding with his availability.
