Islamabad, Minister for Power Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari today declared the government’s commitment to stringent measures against power theft, in an effort to address significant inefficiencies within the sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a news conference in Islamabad, Minister Leghari outlined the government’s strategy for revitalizing the power sector, which includes a comprehensive roadmap for reforms aimed at correcting systemic weaknesses. He emphasized that these inefficiencies are severely impacting the nation’s economy and that tackling power theft is crucial for sustainable development.
