Pakistan, Japan sign $2.1M HRD Scholarship Program deal

Pakistan and Japan have signed an agreement of two point one million dollars to bolster the Human Resource Development Scholarship Program 2024.

The agreement to this effect was signed by Secretary of Economic Affairs Kazim Niaz and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Pakistan Wada Mitsuhiro in Islamabad today.

The grant will provide seventeen scholarships for Master’s programs and one for a PhD/Doctorate program at prestigious universities in Japan for young Federal Civil Service and Ex-Cadre officers of Pakistan.

This initiative has significantly enhanced the capacity and performance of young officers who play a crucial role in the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
