Pakistan Navy Ship HUNAIN Sets Sail from Romania on Maiden Voyage

Islamabad: The recently commissioned Pakistan Navy Ship HUNAIN has embarked on its maiden voyage to Pakistan from Constanta, Romania, marking a significant addition to Pakistan’s naval fleet.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Fleet Commander of the Romanian Navy visited PNS HUNAIN and met with its Commanding Officer before the ship departed. During its departure, PNS HUNAIN participated in a joint naval exercise with the Romanian Navy ship LASTUNUL, demonstrating enhanced naval cooperation between the two countries.

The PNS HUNAIN is the third of four Offshore Patrol Vessels constructed at the DAMEN Naval Shipyard in Romania and is equipped with modern weapons and sensors. This addition is expected to significantly bolster Pakistan’s maritime security capabilities in the Indian Ocean region.
