Two Indian Troops Killed, Several Injured in Clash in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: In a recent escalation in the Islamabad district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian troops were killed and four others sustained injuries during a military operation. The incident also resulted in injuries to three civilians.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the military casualties occurred during a cordon and search operation in the Kokernag area of the district, where the troops were critically injured and later succumbed to their injuries. The operation reportedly intensified when Indian forces opened fire, leading to civilian injuries as well.
