Karachi, In an upcoming board meeting, Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) will convene to discuss and approve the budget for the fiscal year 2023-24. The meeting is set to take place on June 19, 2023, in Rawalpindi.
To ensure fair and unbiased decision-making, the company has declared a “Closed Period” commencing from June 12, 2023, until June 19, 2023. During this period, no director, CEO, or executive of the company is permitted to engage, directly or indirectly, in any transaction involving the shares of the company.
This measure aims to prevent any potential conflict of interest and maintain the integrity of the decision-making process within POL. By enforcing the Closed Period, the company ensures that all stakeholders are treated equitably and that the budget approval process is carried out with utmost transparency.
