Pakistan Petroleum Limited Issues Final Notice on Unclaimed Shares and Dividends

Karachi, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has issued a final notice regarding unclaimed shares and dividends, urging shareholders to submit their claims within the next ninety days. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice concerns shares and dividends that have remained unclaimed for more than three years since their issue or distribution date. The details have been made available on the company’s official website, www.ppl.com.pk.

Notices were initially sent to the shareholders at their registered addresses on March 7, 2024. This final reminder stipulates that any unclaimed shares will be transferred to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan following the ninety-day period, and the corresponding unclaimed dividends will be deposited with the Federal Government, as mandated by the Companies Act, 2017. The notification will also be published in the “Dawn” and “Jang” newspapers on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
