Pakistan Stock Exchange Launches Text-to-Speech Feature to Enhance Website Accessibility

Karachi, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has introduced a new Text-to-Speech feature on its website, aimed at improving accessibility and user experience for visitors. This feature is available in the blogs and articles section, enhancing the way content is consumed by providing an audio version for users who prefer listening over reading, or those with visual impairments and reading difficulties.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Text-to-Speech functionality is designed to support various users, including those who multitask or have specific accessibility needs. The feature includes customizable options such as adjustable playback speed and easy navigation, ensuring a seamless experience across the platform.

PSX’s Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Farrukh H. Khan, highlighted the importance of the new feature, stating it demonstrates PSX’s commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of its users and promoting inclusive access to its resources. Ms. Raeda Latif, Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer at PSX, further emphasized the role of this development in enhancing the exchange’s services to meet the diverse needs of its community, aligning with PSX’s ongoing efforts to adhere to and promote ESG standards, including diversity and inclusivity.
