Pakistan Urges Immediate Implementation of Gaza Peace Plan

New York: Pakistan has called for the urgent implementation of the peace plan for Gaza, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts. Speaking at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency’s Pledging Conference, Second Secretary Rabia Ijaz of the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations stressed the need for a comprehensive reconstruction plan for Gaza’s educational institutions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ijaz highlighted Pakistan’s active role in supporting Gaza, noting that since last October, the country has sent more than eight planeloads of humanitarian aid, totaling over 2,000 tons, to the region. She reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to collaborate in rebuilding efforts and stressed the importance of swiftly putting into action the peace plan as outlined in Security Council Resolution 2735.
