Pakistani Students Highlight Independence Day Ceremony in Dhaka

Dhaka: This morning, the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka hosted a flag hoisting ceremony to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day, with a significant participation of Pakistani students. The students, who are currently hosted by the High Commission due to recent situations in Bangladesh, played a central role in the celebrations, joining High Commissioner Syed Ahmed Maroof in raising the national flag and reading key messages from Pakistan’s leaders.

According to Press Information Department, the ceremony was particularly notable for the involvement of 50 Pakistani students from various medical colleges in Dhaka. They read aloud messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, which emphasized the country’s solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and reaffirmed the nation’s founding visions. High Commissioner Maroof expressed gratitude towards Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for ensuring the students’ safety and highlighted their contributions to the vibrant ceremony.
