Pakistan’s Economy Shows Positive Trends, Finance Minister Calls for Increased Trade and Investment

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the emergence of positive macro-economic trends in Pakistan during a meeting with members of the Pakistan Business Council in the United Arab Emirates. He advocated for enhanced collaboration among industry leaders, government agencies, financial institutions, and local stakeholders to boost trade and investment in the country.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the encouraging signs in Pakistan’s economic indicators, both internally and on international fronts. He expressed confidence that the ongoing structural reforms and enhanced enforcement mechanisms are steering the economy in the right direction.

The meeting underscores a strategic push to attract more trade and investment into Pakistan, aiming to capitalize on the improving economic climate and foster sustainable growth.
