Pakistan’s Trade with African Nations Shows Remarkable Growth

Islamabad: Pakistan’s trade and economic relations with African countries are witnessing significant progress.

According to Radio Pakistan, exports to Kenya recorded a thirty-two percent increase, rising from 251.6 million dollars to 319.9 million dollars in the first nine months of the current fiscal year. Rice, textiles, pharmaceuticals, IT services, and renewable energy products were major contributors to this growth in exports.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Ethiopian Ambassador Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba held an important meeting. Their discussions emphasized the promotion of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), joint investments, and industrial cooperation in African markets.
