Pearl Shine Group International visits Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries

Karachi, January 17, 2013 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Pearl Shine Group International (PSGI) visited Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI), and gave a detailed briefing to Vice President SCCI Mr. Mohammad Kashif Almas on providing online business training to the verified local SMEs via Alibaba.com, the world’s largest business-to-business (B2B) online marketplace.

Being the strategic partner of www.alibaba.com in Pakistan, Pearl Shine Group International (PSGI) is going to organise practical training sessions and workshops on online business and trading across the country in collaboration with concerned chambers of commerce and industries operating in different cities and provinces. Showing his great interest on the proposed training programmes and workshops, Vice President SCCI Mr. Mohammad Kashif Almas said that local traders and businessmen in Pakistan can never grow without mastering the latest tools of conducting businesses via online channels available at the Internet. “SCCI will be, always, on the forefront to provide online business trainings to the verified local SMEs through Pearl Shine Group International (PSGI), which is an officially-nominated strategic partner of Alibaba.com in Pakistan”, Mr. Almas said.

Highlighting the details of PSGI’s comprehensive educational and training programmes on online businesses and trading, CEO PSGI Mr. Irfan Haider Awan said that the city of Sialkot, globally known as the ‘land of exports’, have more than 30 thousand SMEs operating in various manufacturing and industrial sectors such as sports’ goods and products, surgical instruments, leather goods and textiles etc., and providing them online business training will not increase their exports, but also boost the entire national economy as well.”

Chairmen SME Committee SCCI Mr. Faizan Akbar was also present in the meeting, while delegation of PSGI consisted on CEO Mr. Irfan Haider Awan and Director Marketing PSGI Mr. Tanvir Sadiq.
